LEFT: H.E. the Chancellor of Youth Embassy Tanzania Hon. Ali Hassan Mwinyi and the Executive Director Charles Mgendi of Youth Embassy Tanzania shortly after discussing what to and how to achieve the goals set for the years to come.

YOUTH SERVICE is one of the most costly works around. It requires us more than $550,000 a year and 90% of that need to come direct from Charity! So a BIG amount of your gift is a part of the vital contributions we need.

This year we are seeing significant Youth Service expansion, and we need financial resource to make the most of the opportunities we have intended. A bulk of financial support is required for youth’s social awareness, information technology and education, supporting individual or group small business capital, development of information resources, and training of staff.

Your gift will contribute to the following areas:-

Target 1 – $ 180,000

To purchase much needed ICT equipment to help our clients cope with the use of information database, internet marketing and research, and development information. Also most of the youths still require basic training and skills in specific programs such as Computer Aided Design, Graphic Design, Web design and programming. This program will provide the youth who do not have access to a computer to have free access through the “Access Point” Computer Station at the Youth Embassy offices.

Target 2 – $ 70,000

To build a strong response team in partnership with local, governmental and international agencies to respond to regeneration needs and such other programs as participation in reproductive health education, and HIV/AIDS education, job market needs education, civic education, democracy and peace education and other social issues affecting their lives.

Target 3 – $ 300,000

To set up a Center for Youth Competency (CYC) in Chalinze governorate so that we can strongly promote leadership, diversity, accountability, teamwork, career paths, and the “I can as well attitude” through speeches of great leaders that tilt the psyche of the youth to work hard, do good for their communities and help fellow youth and the country. Approximately 65% of the youths in Tanzania who receive post primary education or training have almost no idea about these confidence areas which are very important for meeting life’s challenges.

Thank you for valuing the Youth Embassy Tanzania and for considering making a donation
